Interesting indeed.
Pass on interrupts.

Ooh! An interesting loophole.
Note that this means that it's possible to use a location without encountering an NPC therein. This can come in handy in situations where you're particularly concerned about an NPC's negative outcome. (For instance, some of them can send you to Sickbay or the Brig, in which case you wouldn't get to activate the location after all.)

I have orders; Starbuck plays a Strategic Planning 5. Gaeta fires!
Die roll: 8 + 2 = 10. Hit! And you do... Structural Damage. All attacks at this basestar are now at +2 to hit.
That's all well and good, but of course humans are very susceptible to peer pressure. If all the cool Cylons are doing it, perhaps you should set about damaging Galactica. Chief's crisis card is:
Hangar Accident
Skill Check (10 PRB)
Possible interrupts: IC, Reckless. Everyone, please pass or play.
BSG (Helo)
Pass on interrupts. I can help a little.
BSG
Starbuck plays an At Any Cost 5. Treachery is now positive for this check, and the check is now Reckless. Everyone else passes on interrupts.

Tally: 17 - 3 = 14. Pass! The hangar remains intact. However, the check doesn't pass without incident; it was a Reckless check, which means that the BL-1 and SD-2 take effect. Both basestars are on the board already, but we can add one civvie in Sector 4. In addition, everyone draws one Treachery (again). Cards are going out now.
Next, the basestars each launch a heavy raider; and finally, the jump track advances. That concludes Chief's turn. Cally's cards are going out. Cally, when you're ready, please post your move and action.
