Ugh that is a tough choice. It would still leave us with 10 Pop if we take the pop loss but it's so early in the game I'm just not sure which is the sounder choice. If it were mine I'd go with option 2.

I went with Option 1, I think the toasters can do a lot more damage if we allow that much metal in the sky around us this early in a jump cycle. We'd probably end up needing to jump out early and then risk the population at that point.
Especially if we get a real attack on top of it

I'm never a pilot, which sector do the launch into?

You may choose either Sector 5 or Sector 6 for a launch. You can then move them to other sectors (one sector at a time) with subsequent activations. If you activate Command once, you'll have two viper activations; if you activate it twice, you'll have four activations.

You could launch two into Sector 5, then move one to Sector 4 to fire on the Raider to clear the skies. Or you could just launch two into Sector 5 and two into Sector 6 for coverage and let that lone Raider keep taking potshots at Galactica for now.
