So, we'd still only have one viper in Sector 5 but it would be manned. And we're all out of Piloting cards. But Starbuck will be out of Sickbay and able to get more cards in a couple of turns, which would be severely limited if I don't XO her now.

Yeah, okay. I move to FTL Control and XO-1 Starbuck.

Get us a good crisis and the cigars are on me.

We cannot pass this skill check, but the Fail effect is not that bad, Raiders don't activate, and the jump track advances. I think we should all just get rid of our Treachery so we can jump on Tory's turn before something worse happens.

Possible interrupts: IC, SR, Reckless.I will also mention, you can, in the interrupt phase, vote to TANK a check. If everyone votes to tank it, I will simply reveal Destiny, assume everyone plays 0 cards (unless they've given me COs saying otherwise) and resolve the check.

The card discard is random, so we couldn't be sure we're getting rid of our treachery, but if we did, it would trigger the consequence.

Let me be sure I have this consequence business straight:

(a) Treachery played into the check will trigger the consequence if and only if the check is made Reckless by an interrupt

(b) 0 pt cards will trigger the consequence in addition to whatever effect they regularly trigger (the Red Tape of the last check had no effect because there were no 5 or 6 pt cards in the check, yes? But if it were to show up in this check it would trigger the consequence)

(c) none of the Treachery cards have any effect (other than negative point value) if they are played into the check and it is NOT Reckless
