Die roll: 6 + 2 = 8. Hit! Let's check the damage:
Yay, but, balls, I overplanned!
Disabled Hangar! The basestar in Sector 1 is no longer able to launch raiders.
YES!!
Die roll = 6. Hit!
YES!!
Civilian Ship Nuked
...That doesn't sound good.

Two misses in one turn! It's like the Cylons are mocking us.
What's this 'like' they're mocking you? They're totally mocking you. In fact, they've invented a new dance, they call it the Starbuck dance. It mostly consists of twirling around the room with your hands over your eyes, maybe falling over a couple of times too.

As much as I'd prefer not to trade my last card for treachery, option 2 could be really tragic. I think I'd go with 1, if it were up to me.
BSG
Whoo!
Whoo!
Oh.
Hm. All this talk about nuking and building nukes. Possibly not the best chatter, as it turns out, huh? Poor civvies. As your president, I make a sad but resolved face in your general direction.
I agree, I choose Option 1. I don't want to be losing that many civvies right off the bat when we've got so many others in danger already. Hopefully we can find a way to slough off the Treachery cards.
I discard 1 RT0.
BSG
I discard one XO-2
BSG
I'm not keen on a potential Cylon having a Treachery card, but Option 2 could be very bad, it's true. Of course, Option 1 could be just as bad if we draw the right/wrong civvies, so it's kind of a crapshoot.
It's a good thing you hit that basestar right in the hangar, Tigh. Saved us a couple new Raiders.
Kat, you're going to get shot at first, but I've got your back. If one of us is going to get sent to Sickbay, it's going to be me. Is your last card a Piloting card? I wouldn't want you to lose that either.
Well, looks like you lose it. I discard R-1.
BSG
I discard my LS-1.
Glad that hangar is disabled, at least. I hope Kat can get rid of some of those swarming raiders.
BSG
I discard a DE-4. Yeah, that hurt.
Guys, I got some bad news. I got the itchies really bad & I don't think I can stay in this sector.
You know, my weakness seemed kind of cool when I imagined myself running all over Galactica. Now that I realize it means I can't stay here and protect these civvies. Damn you BSG board game!
BSG
Yeah, I had a bad feeling about your Weakness when I started thinking about flying. This is going to be bad if Raiders activate, uh, ever. Now that you've realized this issue, though, keep it mind when planning your moves. I'll try to remember too, especially since we're consecutive turns, that I should generally swap out with you if I can. I maybe should have moved to Sector 4 instead of shooting, for instance. But then aaaaaaall those Raiders would move to Sector 4. So I don't know. Things are generally bad.
Depending on how things shake out—and I don't know if both of us will survive the Raider activation—you could move to Sector 3 and then XO me to get into Sector 4.
BSG
you could move to Sector 3 and then XO me to get into Sector 4.
If I get an XO, that was already my plan. I'm one step ahead of you, Starbutch.
