Ooh, snazzy moves, Anders! I like the cut of your jib.
Pass on interrupts.
I think that's how that all works. Let me know if not, GM.
You have to post the cards you discard.

This is correct, and Anders discarded: XO-1, LS-1, LS-1. It'll be about an hour before I can resolve the rest of the play; meanwhile, everyone with SPs can pass or play, and anyone with Calcs can send me COs.

The word is in: Cally plays an SP-5 on Anders' attack:
Die roll: 8 + 2 = 10. Hit! The basestar now has a Disabled Hangar.
It was a good shot, but already rumours are starting. Did Cain attempt to order the Battlestar Pegasus to nudge Anders' arm just as he took the shot? Would she compromise the war effort just to keep Galactica behind on the scorecard? Anders' Crisis is:

Anders, when you're ready, please post your choice.

Hm, interesting stories. Do we take a Morale hit, or do we burn cards to avoid a Morale hit...and if we don't burn enough cards, we'll get the Morale hit AND all lose another card?
It almost doesn't seem worth it to go for the check, but I could help out a fair bit if we do.
BSG
Hey, I could help a little with this check if that's the way we go. Hooray, Press Room!
BSG
I can help a lot on this check.
BSG
Well, it sounds like we could go for it. But I don't want us all ending up with Treachery, which hasn't been an issue so far since no one draws it natively this game. So does anyone have an IC?
Off BSG for a moment, Wallybee and I had a corker of a Race for the Galaxy game last night. She was pursuing a standard military strategy, while I was going production. Round 3, I chose to Develop and Settle; she did a double Settle, but first leeched off my develop phase to land Improved Logistics. This lets her place two worlds in every Settle action, and since her military strength was up to 6 by now, there's no shortage of options. By round end, she's placed five extra cards to my two.
I had a cracking final round. In a surprise move, I gave up one of my phases to go searching for an Alien world, and picked up just what I needed. I added 20 points in one round (almost doubling my score), 12 of them due to that play. However, it wasn't quite enough to catch Wallybee's military juggernaut, and she took the game by 4 points. Her layout alone was worth 25 points more than mine; I'd scraped back points everywhere I could find them, but her efficiency drive took the day.
That sounds like a lot of fun.
BSG
Okay, well, it's something of a risk without an IC, of course, but it sounds like we think we can pass the skill check. I can only help a bit.
I choose the skill check. No interrupts.
BSG
Possible interrupts are: IC, SR, Reckless interrupts. Everyone who hasn't yet sent me COs, please pass or play on interrupts. You can also send me COs for the check (if you haven't yet done so). Cain will start the check, Anders will finish it.
