I've entered the ending sequence of Dragonfire. Not far now.

The Great Write Way, Act Three: Where's the gun?
A place for Buffistas to discuss, beta and otherwise deal and dish on their non-fan fiction projects.
I finished Dragonfire and already have reworked the ending based on some feedback. It's at 62k which according to this agent is right in the sweet spot for MG fantasy.
Once I've gotten a round of revising done, I've got three kid beta readers lined up, with maybe another one or two. I should probably find at least one adult beta reader as well.
Meanwhile, COG is out of the queue and being looked at by my agent right now. Not sure when edits will be coming.
Lots of writing stuff going on right now.
Go Gud Go!
Awesome, Gud!
I'm a good ways through my first revision of Dragonfire, mostly hunting typos right now. I think the age range for it will be 10-13 whereas COG is 8-12.
I like revision. Not that initial draft isn't any fun, but there's always the possibility of plotting myself into a corner or getting writer's block while writing the rough draft. Once it's done, I know I've got a book and polishing is less stressful.
You're made of much sterner stuff than me, Gud. I hate revising.
This a fun thing for Halloween. If you're on Twitter, anyway.
I think my nod to NaNoWriMo this year will be learning to use Scrivener and Index Card
Shit, that's tomorrow, isn't it. Hmmm.
My entry for #Hallowfic: Sold my soul to Satin. Silky silky high thread count Satin. Soon Satin will collect, and I will die, smothered in luxury.
