I know I've been away from Natter for a while, but I have a hive mind question. Whitefonting is for possible medical squick, although I think this one is relatively tame.

I seem to have gotten a bump about the size of a large pimple behind my ear. It's red, but there's no head to it. It feels kind of hard but not very and it's sore to the touch, but not really painful.

Should I do anything about it, or is it likely just waiting to be a monstrous pimple or some such thing, and no big deal? Probably apropos of nothing, there does seem to be some sort of weird illness going around town where you have no symptoms except feeling like crap and occasional dizziness, and I seem to have that.

Joining in on the Crowded House love. I play "Something So Strong" when I feel in need of a pick-me-up.

Just back from the concert and it was FABULOUS. It was the last night of their tour and they were having such fun onstage with the whole band playing their hearts out. They played 5 or 6 new songs which are going to be on their next cd, and that was cool, plus lots form the back catalogue, including some songs they rarely sing. They also played a Split Enz song and had great fun with that. Neil Finn reminds me of Springsteen on concert in that he really is in control of the audience at all times but also in that it is clear that he loves singing these songs, and that he loves singing these songs with the audience to share the moment with him.

I started this post 20 minutes ago. my right lens fell out of my glasses ( rule 1 never clean your glasses) DH is not home. for the first time in my life I got the lens back in and the screw in place by my self.

I deserve a cookie, o a glass of wine.

My regular glasses disapparated on me last week, and they still haven't turned up, damn it. I may actually have to go out and buy new glasses, which I'm not looking forward to.

At least I have my old backup glasses, but the prescription isn't right any more, so it's a little off-putting.

kiddie birthday party at a farm (hay + pollen + more hay) was very fun. The allergy attack after? Evil. WTF sinuses? I've never had this bad a reaction around a barn before.

I should have been paying enough attention to know who Pete wentz is, shouldn't I? Still, I did know he was dating a Simpson, even if I don't know what he does for a living.

I've been thinking he was the guy who played Norm in Cheers. I'm not saying this has just become unsustainable, but really, marrying Jessica would've been more believable.

Fuck. It's light outside. I forgot to go to sleep. That book was really long.
