wow this is amazing... I just read this book called "will the vampire people please leave the lobby" and it talked all about buffistas, and fandome, and Im think it was by somebody on here named Alkyson, but this is so amazing, I love buffy and the book "will the vampire people please leave the lobby"was great, and now i can actually talk to the people from the book, (that probably didn't make to much sence?) It's like if... u read harry potter and than afterwards went to hogwarts...

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
We have no sorting hat here, Katrina, so be warned. We also don't (honest!) have a Voldemort, so it might average out.
Anyway--welcome. Click on links! Read up. Hopefully you'll find it comfy. Don't hesitate to ask for directions, if you need them.
I think we kicked He Who Shall Not Be Named out in '03 or thereabouts.
Yeah, but he's not gone...he posts as "Dick Cheney" sometimes.
I resisted saying "Wouldn't that depend on how Jesus slaughtered you?" but it was a near thing.
I would've paid to see this.
Crowded House
I saw them last fall. Fun stuff.
I aspire to become McGonagall someday.
Dudes. E! News literally just broke into The Soup to tell me that Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz got married. I mean, I guess when you're E! News, that is big breaking news, BUT STILL.
Oooh, is it in pretty southern Indiana, Liese?
It is! And the camp itself is lovely. Lots of trees and pathways and lakes. Too bad it'll be overrun by gaggles of screaming preteens! Heh.
And of course, we'll have to get used to the crazy humidity and rain, but it'll be really nice to get to wander about in the woods for a while.
I should have been paying enough attention to know who Pete wentz is, shouldn't I? Still, I did know he was dating a Simpson, even if I don't know what he does for a living.
Could someone throw a tawdry scandal into my lap? I promise to be titillating on a large scale. Just looking for a change of pace.
Saw a piece here on replacing your lawn with a big pond with waterfall and ducks and bamboo and the like. My brain is screaming to me about the water wastage, but they said that with using recycled water it was less drain (so to speak) than grass itself.
Cool. Because a gazebo, lawnchairs, and running water? Gorgeous.
This is of course said in that LA way.

Sounds nice except for the ducks.
I read in an article in the NY Times that about 1/3 of residential water usage goes to landscaping. NJ gets water restrictions just about every summer, and people start complaining as soon as it gets to only being allowed to run a sprinkler every other day. When did this whole thing of "Your lawn must be bright emerald green ALL THE TIME" start, anyway?

Bandom, ita. He's the bassist and lyricist for Fall Out Boy. Among his other projects.
