I seen you without your clothes on before. Never thought I'd see you naked.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

What book?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The Sweet Far Thing by Libba Bray. I wanted to make sure I was done in time to return it in time. So I read it and read it and then my head was still kinda hurty so I cleaned up the TiVo a bit and this is gonna sting come tomorrow.

eta: There's a bit on page 492 or so where the protagonist mentions books longer than 502 pages where I had to snicker.

ita, I hate to break it to you: it already is morning.

I did the stay up too late to read thing the previous night. But I felt it all day yesterday (aided and abetted by vicodin taken at 1 AM for my neck).

Sox, does your little one also have allergies?

It's morning already--it's just not Monday morning. That's when I expect the sting to kick in.

I say you give it a shot.

I started recording Green Hornet because why waste Bruce Lee, but have come to appreciate how damned creepy they can make half an hour of cheesy action.

Okay, I have to go to sleep, but I don't want to. There was this dream Friday night that went all sorts of places I don't need to go, especially with family around. And it feels just around the corner.

Yeah, good luck w/that.

It gorgeous out again here! I hope the threatened showers don't come when I'm out in the park later.

Let me take that back--Green Hornet isn't cheesy, not in a world with the Batman TV series. They took themselves way more seriously. Moreso than Superman too, perhaps.

Art Crawl!!!

Vortex, I hope you had the happiest of Birthdays! (I can't believe I wasn't online at all yesterday.)

Wasn't that an EXCELLENT Preakness?? I'm all excited for the Belmont now - I want either a Triple Crown Winner or for Better than Honour to have produced three consecutive Belmont Stakes winners.

That's not asking too much, is it?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I read most of a book yesterday! I don't know how long it's been since I did something like that -- that should give you an idea about how rushed I've been with school and all. Now maybe I can get back into going through the excessive backlog of unread books I have on the shelves here!
