Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

You know what's a pain? When you have a shitty cup of coffee on your desk, but you keep forgetting it's bad and drinking it anyway. There was an event, I scammed some coffee and lunch. The coffee is dreadful. Frankly, it almost always is, Marriott makes shitty coffee. But, it's on my desk, and I keep picking it up to drink it. I just need to move it out of my coffee spot, or go dump it. I think that I keep hoping that it's not as bad as I remember and each time, IT IS.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I'm sorry, tommy, you obviously fail as a man. (Actually, now it's not loading for me either.)

Do you know how to place three simultaneous bets on a craps table?

Can you order a drink with authority?

Are you brand-loyal to at least one brand?

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Do you think Esquire has passed any prime it may have had?

Wow, Dana. I'm pretty sure I don't want to date anyone Esquire thinks is a man.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I can learn about the Freemasons in my lunch hour.

How long did it take before the Illuminati came up?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It was TeeVee and not net!learning, so it was linear. No Illuminati. History International falling down on the job?

Okay, like three more hours work and then pain relief. Too silly.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Woo, Allyson!

Boo, Esquire.

Secret handshake to the Freemasons. I've got an active Oddfellow hall down the street from me and I think they may have to be my favorite secret society. Or not secret. Whatever. It's such a fine name, Oddfellows.

here's Esquire's list of 75 Skills Every Man Should Master.

I can't take such a list seriously if it's missing "Walk in 3-inch heels."

(Seriously, it's simultaneously cool and really annoying to have a BF who walks better in heels -- and in *higher* heels -- than I do.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Everything I've seen quoted here from that list sounds like skills women should master.
