Kaylee: Can I? Zoe: Sure. He's out, though. Kaylee: He did this for me, once.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ah, just as well Laga. That would have been a weird worlds-colliding moment.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

My childhood was pretty dull.(certainly in comparison to the above stories, but also in general)

My state is terribly efficient: a week after I'd mailed my taxes, they'd refunded me (of course, it took me a week to notice, but still!)

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

yah I've already spent my tax refund. C'mon incentive!

For the state, I pretty much break even every 2 years: either I owe them $50 or they owe me. I'm good with that. I'd like to get closer to 0 refund on the federal, but then I'd actually have to do some work.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

This is Hug an Atheist Day

And yet I have not had a single hug. These events need more press.

My mother still frequently relives the time I hid inside a circular rack of clothing for an hour or so.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Apparently I owe this year. I am entirely unhappy about this, but lack the energy to exercise timely and due diligence. So I'll mail a cheque off tomorrow.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Due to the DH having a very good freelance year, our tax bill is going to clean out our entire savings account. Luckily, this payment includes next quarter's estimated taxes as well, and we have no credit card debt (yeah, I said it, as of last month we have NO credit card debt!) so let's hope more jobs come in for him and we can start saving again. No buying ANY new stuff for the next year--one more reason for me to diet right now, so my summer clothes will all fit.

ita, that's insult to injury to insult. At least you got to earn interest on it?

My parents got slammed with a penalty one year due to somethingorother they missed. They seemed to have sorted that out.

scrappy, ouch. But yay doing better than expected!

Damned, someone must've slipped some pollyanna in my ginger ale.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

mac is feeling so much better, but wakes up from naps feeling really bad all over again. I know he is feeling better though, because he is requesting food.
