Gunn: Well, how horrible is this thing? Lorne: I haven't read the Book of Revelations lately, but if I was searching for adjectives, I'd probably start there.

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Now I want a bellini. They have become the bew thing I have been taking to family holidays, a bottle of prosecco and a bottle of peach puree. Although, I saw Giada making her own peach puree on tv the other day, and I may have to try that.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

So, I'm just now online thanks to Monday being the Day of Meetings around here, but I want to add my voice to the chorus of condemnation of Aims' ex-boss, that asshat and douchenozzle.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

just got off the phone with my dad - I looked at my bank account while on line -- and my gift from GWB arrived. Mom and Dad bought a tv. But , they don't have credit card debt.

PS still no cell phone. I hope I find it at work tomorrow.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Just got a call from the daycare director at the gym. Apparently, Cut a Bitch Mom has asked that if Owen is at the daycare at the same time as her kids, that he has to be kept in a seperate room. *sigh* The director thinks the woman is hysterical but will try to honor her request. She seems to think that once the woman gets to know that staff and the center, that she will relent.

I'm a mixture of pissed off, hurt and embarrassed about the whole thing.

But A assured me that she didn't expect me to change my schedule to accommodate this woman's overprotectiveness. They'll handle the logistics as long as necessary.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

you have a great daycare center, Cash.

I did not use the word treesex or plantsexwhen I talked to my dad. I just suggested it.

Our wings are not tired.

Ok, hungry now.

Waiting to hear how Aims is doing...

Yay for the daycare center at least not being too crazy, Cash.

Went to the doctor, got prescriptions. Yippeee. Fingers crossed that I magically am NOT dopey on the topamax, but it still makes me lose weight (the desireable side effect). Oh, and, y'know, stops the migraines.

Also, I found out I'm supposed to be (for work) in North Carolina the day after I'm supposed to be in Vegas. Not loving this plan, looking at flights. Argh.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

Apparently, Cut a Bitch Mom has asked that if Owen is at the daycare at the same time as her kids, that he has to be kept in a seperate room.

oh for goodness sakes! Maybe she suffered some knife-related trauma in her life. If not she is totally over reacting.

I once dated a boy who got kicked out of Montessori school when he was six for telling a little girl that he'd like to strip her naked and cover her in cellophane tape.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, dear, Cashmere! I'm so sorry, you.

I just finally finished a project that I thought we be done around noon. I'm so frustrated. I know part of why I'm moving slowly is because I feel like crap and can't breathe well, but you know, it's not helping the to do list!

Just ordered food and now I get to start studying for tomorrow's exams. YIPPEE!

brillig

One of the indulgences I bought in Vegas was a turquoise pashmina at a kiosk in Caesar's. So snuggly and soft and gorgeous--and so warm wrapped around my shoulders here at my desk under the air conditioning vent.
