Sweet lumpy minion, you're the only one that understands. Probably 'cause I haven't sucked the brain out of you yet.

Spike's Bitches 40: Buckle Up, Kids! Daddy's Puttin' the Hammer Down.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I had an irish car bomb last night. It tasted like ice cream with Guinness sauce. If the people of Ireland think "black and tan" is an offensive name for a drink I can't imagine what they'd think of this one.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Daniel, I just picked up a whole bunch of Shirley Bassey thanks to that NPR story. It's all awesome. I also recommend her "The Living Tree (shaken & stirred remix)".

I can't wait for the new album to come out this week, so I can get her cover of "I Will Survive".

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

How can a thread filled with such cuteness be concurrently filled with such misery as well?

ION, Amon Ra has very similar markings to Harvey's momma. Gorgeous cats. Are Amon's eyes sapphire or more of a ... I think of it as sandy blue?

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

My mom just made "Irish" dinner. Corned beef and cabbage, corned seitan and cabbage, potatoes, and soda bread.

Incidentally, when I was in Ireland, whenever I was served what was called "soda bread," it was a sort of whole wheat bread. Here, "soda bread" is white and sweet. Why?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I don't know, Hil, but I prefer the whole wheat version. I've sometimes found a good brown soda bread mix but I'm guessing it isn't hard to make.

Yeah, I made some of the whole wheat kind last year, and it was pretty easy.

What's seitan? And did you have parsley sauce with the corned beef? Nom.

I had the soda bread convo with DH earlier. He'd never heard of the white kind. Go figure.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

HIL!! Help!!

I have to simplify (1/2)^-2.

I came up with 2/1^2. Is that right?
