We can go somewhere I know someone and get some free foodChangs was good. I didn't go for a hankering. It was a nice spot in between me and R so we could catch up. I'm always up for free food, especially GOOD free food, especially in these lovely economic times. I think the trick is trying to align our forcaca schedules. But.. YES! LETS! In all honesty, I've been to Changs twice now. Last night, and that lovely time with your family prior to seeing GREASE!. Both were yummy experiences.
Omnis, not a fan of salad? How is that possible, when there are so many varieties and so many of them are so glorious? I promise that if Zmayhem ever makes a road trip to LA I'll borrow someone's kitchen and whip you up a nice proper Greek salad (or possibly, for an extra healthiness kick, a Greek-spinach hybrid salad). So ridiculously good.
Sigh. Now I want tater tots and a Greek salad. And some tzatziki (see, Sail? salad and yogurt, just for you!)
Just the mention of PF Chang's makes me crave steamed dumplings. Or pan-fried dumplings.
I think we have TJ's gyoza at home, which are similar enough to steamed dumplings that I should be able to kick that craving.

Damn I love that stuff. Not spelling it, but eating it, yeah. I love that Greek cuisine gives the cucumber so many props.

So a co-worker thinks there's something "scary" about Obama. I really like this coworker, and I know we come from very different places culturally, but... what on earth could be scary about Obama?
I'm so used to being alone in my vegephilia that it was merely a courtesy when I showed my new roommates some lentils and rice with TJ's succotash that I'd whipped up and asked if they wanted any. Their enthusiasm was invigorating. Yay boys who eat veggies! (and the hanging out shirtless is acceptable as well)

Also, just sent an email to a coworker who believed the "Obama doesn't say the Pledge of Allegiance" rumor. (Seriously, for all my questions about it as a private citizen, could that possibly fly in the Senate?)

(I feel like I should meara and comment on everything I've been 2-days-behind-lurking on for the past several weeks, but is too much.
