Will they rehire her at her old place, maybe?
There's a good chance. The HR director said they'd want her back when she left but there are always so many other factors at play with a big institution like that.
It could turn out okay. But it's not okay right now.
OH shit. JZ, I am so sorry.
Oh, JZ; oh, Hec. Shitshitshit!!
OH shit! JZ & Hec, I hope things work out for the better and very quickly.
One of the bosses felt she was "distant."
That's so fucked up.
It's like they only want certain personality types there....
hate them. hate the situation. long distance hugs.
Motherfuck! That sucks SO FUCKING HARD, Hec. {{JZ and Zmayhems}}

Even if she was.... how is that a firing offense? WTF! Assholes!

Sadly, I'm thinking the reason it was so soon after she got hired was so she wasn't done with some sort of trial period. I know my company has a 90 day window where if things aren't working out, they can let somebody go with no reason other than "didn't work out".
I can't imagine "distant" being that kind of a dealbreaker, though. Who the fuck was she working for anyway - Ken Scorpio?

California's "at-will." She was an executive assistant. The executives have a grotesque sense of entitlement about how they will be served.
