Even if she was.... how is that a firing offense? WTF! Assholes!

Sadly, I'm thinking the reason it was so soon after she got hired was so she wasn't done with some sort of trial period. I know my company has a 90 day window where if things aren't working out, they can let somebody go with no reason other than "didn't work out".

I can't imagine "distant" being that kind of a dealbreaker, though. Who the fuck was she working for anyway - Ken Scorpio?

I know what a blow that can be. I got fired from that one job (that I instantly hated) after three DAYS and it felt like a gut punch...even though I was already searching for another job.

You have my sympathies.

If you wanted to...I would never encourage this...but if you were to say, drop a name and an address, there might be a couple guys willing to do some "executive re-training" with some axe handles for the price of a case of beer...
