"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

These people are all unnervingly pretty.

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

So, it's just teen soap opera? No humor, no horror, no suspense?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I like the evil brother.

dcp, no humor that I could find but some horror and a tiny bit of suspense.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Vampire Diaries: oh lord, this is schlocky. And heavy-handed. And the fog! The fog is awesome, and I think it gives the best performance in the show. Also, the background music is kind of foreground music, and is really annoying.

But, the show is amusing enough that I'll tune in next week. Plus, I can play the Hey, that's not how it happened in the book! game. Which makes me laugh and laugh and laugh.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Yet with all of that, the s how does manage to be more suspenseful than the book, so yay. Plus, I'm going to root for the bad vampire, out of a sense of tradition.

“Not dead yet!”

Is the bad vampire the one played by Ian Somerhalder? (I didn't watch, but have vague curiosity since I think Somerhalder is verra pretty.)

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Why WHY is Fringe going up against Supernatural?

Art Crawl!!!

Yes, the bad brother is played by Ian Somerhalder.

I enjoyed Vampire Diaries.

My friend S. has managed to sabatage the Somerhalder thing for me by noting his resemblence to Rob Lowe. . . as in EVERYTIME the name comes up she talks about how much he looks like Rob Lowe and how that prevents her from EVER enjoying him. (And I watched him on Lost and never noticed that resemblence but now I cannot forget it. On the other hand, I can watch Rob Lowe and not think about his past real-life crap.)
