I'm a vision of hotliness, and how weird is that? Mystical comas. You know, if you can stand the horror of a higher power hijacking your mind and body so that it can give birth to itself, I really recommend 'em.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

And there's always Lois Habiba.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

And Mickey!

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

.. and even Martha. Given the right story and, of course, actor availability -- and I still can't help but suspect Martha and Mickey weren't used because RTD didn't want them in this story -- I don't see any reason why a new Torchwood couldn't be up and running very quickly.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

upthread, someone said Martha (the actress) wasn't available for CoE.

What LeN said. Freema was already previously spoken for by L&O:UK. I can see Micky's deliberate omission though.

Mickey and Doris and Gwen as the leader.

I'm a masochist because I just watched Exit Wounds (finally!) It was so hard to watch that last scene with Gwen, Jack and Ianto in the hub.

But, in the scene at the police station where Gwen is giving the marching orders to the other officers...she's a leader and even Rhys know it.

They could build a show around her. Having a baby will complicate but there are babysitters and they will need a new HQ, but it's doable.

I know RTD loves Eve Myles, but unless they're putting John Barrowman on Dr. Who I can't see them going forward on Torchwood without him.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I could definitely see Jack showing up halfway through the premiere and Gwen being excited to see him, but she's got a team and a hub set up and they're doing ok, and it'd be like whichever season of Angel...where Gunn and Wes and Cordy were doing Angel Investigations without Angel, only (probably) with it going more or less just fine.

Art Crawl!!!

Season 2.

And they opened Season 2 of Torchwood like that too - didn't they?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

More or less, yeah. He'd been gone. I think it would be a bit different if it were a whole new team, though.
