I have to say, I am just in awe of the job Peter Capaldi (Frobisher) did. What a magnificent piece of acting in all five episodes.
When Bridget was telling Lois that, "you wouldn't know it now, but he used to be an awkward young man" (something like that) I was thinking back to the first time I saw him in Local Hero. Yes! He was quite gangly in his younger days. /crush on Danny Oldsen

How about the reveal that they're using the kids for drugs? That all this is about a fix? Made it all so skeevy and street corner.
Frobisher did what he had to do, given the information and resources he had at the time, poor man. Brilliantly played by Capaldi.
And the guy who played Dekker was icky when he came up with the solution that would kill Stephen. He looked too smug.
Yeah, Decker is scum. I did get to see the very end, so I know what's going on with Briget, the way she looks at the Prime Minister - chilly!
Oh my god, the way Jack's daughter was looking at him with such pride until she realized what he was going to do.

This is worse than Wash's death and I cried like a baby in the theatre over that.

My sister is hoping people throw cream pies at him at Comic Con. He's put people off Sarah Jane adventures. Which makes me feel quite middle of the road reasonable.
Torchwood was just ugly. I loved Ianto's brother-in-law, though. And I totally pegged him for fighting off the coppers and army to protect all those kids, when push came to shove.

Yeah, I turned to Lewis and said "Of all the really disturbing things in this episode, that was the one thing that really made me want to go medieval." It wasn't just smug, he looked downright gleeful, like he couldn't wait to see it. Kind of reminded me of the mad scientist character that Brent Spiner played in ID4, after everything's been blown to hell and he says it's "very exciting" that the ship is exhibiting signs of life. Except that character was oblivious after being shut away for so many years working on the project. Dekker was most assuredly not oblivious. He was just an evil SOB.
And yeah, ita, the fact that it turned out to be just a massive drug deal was something else. Although, in a way, the clues were there. Their main power was in viruses and anti-viruses. And in the children, they'd found something they couldn't recreate. And really had the net effect of making the PM come off like the nasty corner pusher.
