Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I was attempting to do a quick google on the number of children in the world. If, according to the 2006 CIA Factbook, 27% of the world's population in under 15 years of age, and the world population is 6.773 billion, then 27 % of that is 1.829 billion (1,828,710,000). Ten percent of that is 1.8 million children. Fuck.

Is my math right, mathy people?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Remember the first season episode where it turned out that Jack had given up children to the fairies before this and was prepared to do it again? I'm entirely believing he's the Do That If We Have To guy.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I need to watch the whole of Torchwood again. I appear to have forgotten most of it. Unlike Doctor Who - but then I've watched the last few seasons many times. (The Girl needed converting. Part of my long-term plan to make her a geek. It's slow progress.)

“Not dead yet!”

I'm entirely believing he's the Do That If We Have To guy.

I wonder if it's due to a certain deadness within him because of the whole immortal thing.

Art Crawl!!!

I wonder that too.

I'm also wondering how far underground the Hub went and if it was built on the rift what the explosion might do - I mean could Grey and the aliens in storage have been blasted into another dimension?

Oh, and Christina Cox (of Blood Ties) has a new show - a space show on ABC.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

That's probably more reasonable than the explainataion they'll come up with as soon as they need one in a story.

I've been wondering why the site didn't fill with water from the bay.

I've been thinking about Jack's actions in 1965 in light of him now knowing what happened to Grey.

I wonder if it's due to a certain deadness within him because of the whole immortal thing.

They certainly seem to be showing that he doesn't do great with watching the people he loves grow old and die again and again. I can see how that would make death seem so inevitable that it doesn't really matter when or how it comes.
