A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I'll have to see 4 tomorrow but I have to echo ita and dana's sentiment. I was so moved
when Ianto said,"It isn't men. It's him.
With such,
love.
So,
killing one half of that
would be the epitome of Bad Show.
I don't think they need to put such a fine point on
the aloneness of Jack
by
killing off all the major cast members,
for cripes sake.
I just watched Warehouse 13, and quite enjoyed it. Like M&Ms, not the best, but yummy anyway.

Torchwood. Yeah, what they said. I don't
care if Superman has to fly around the Earth until is spins backwards in time to fix it.
Good ep, I thought.
I thought this ep balanced the
talk/action better than the last one, while still being primarily talky.
But mostly I'm just in a
No! Ianto! No!
place.
I am
not in any place to be either objective or analytical.
Okay, I have to say that with this episode, Torchwood
crossed over from being entertaining to way too painful.
I mean, really. How
can this be resolved?
Plus, the 'next time' scenes
make it look like it will just get worse
.
Doctor Who is
being retooled.
That makes sense. But I haven't heard any such
plans for Torchwood. With this massive shift,
what could possibly be next.
I'm
just too upset.
Period.
I haven't seen this most recent Torchwood yet but from the whitefont:
I don't know if I can watch something bad happen to Ianto. He's my little ray of sunshine. Okay, that was creepy but
I don't care who knows my whackosis.
I love him.
I have to say that, with this 5-parter, RTD seems to have
taken the lessons learned from the Whedon-Minear book of TV-writing and then decided to outdo them. First Clem then Ianto? Bastard.
I don't know
where they're going with this either. I hope they do. Much as I like Jack and Gwen, I don't think I'll stick with the series for them alone.
However,
the preview quite clearly showed a live Mr. Dekker, last seen expiring quietly in a hazmat suit, so maybe Ianto isn't quite as dead as all that. I hope not anyway.
Also,
the image of the child attached to the 456 was one of the creepiest things I've seen in a long time
.
ETA:
And
I was pretty disappointed, after Torchwood seemed to be getting a clue, how massively they messed up against the 456. Go into the building and shout at them - what sort of a plan is that?! No wonder it got Ianto killed
.

Is anybody going to Comic Con?
Article is spoilery in the broadest sense.
