Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

So frustrating!

I was right in the middle of watching Torchwood day 3...just finished part 2 and now it seems the rest of the episode has been pulled from utube. Days 1 & 2 are still up, so I don't get it.

Any other streaming options known?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I liked Myka.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Did we know about this?

Hot on the heels of its Emmy wins for Mad Men and Breaking Bad, the cable channel is making its move into sci-fi by developing a new series based on Red Mars, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

That paragraph had me really excited, and then I read this:

Writer-producer Jonathan Hensleigh (Armageddon, Die Hard: With a Vengeance) will be in charge of adapting Kim Stanley Robinson’s classic 1992 novel

NOooooooooooooooooooooooo!!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Not all the way through day 4: Nooooooooo! Ianto! Nooooooo!

Okay, they'd better get out their magic undo wands for that. I'm not even slightly kidding.

Our wings are not tired.

Oh! I may have to unsub because I am only through 2! Or finish, which more likely. That said, I thought the Gwen announcement in the potato truck was adorable. And poor Jack with the Ouch! Damn, Ianto rocks!

Art Crawl!!!

Darn you and your greater technology than mine.

I have to wait two weeks!!!

Otherwise, I thought that Warehouse 13 was silly fun. And that main Warehouse technician was on Eureka, wasn't he?

Apparently, the show did quite well ratings wise.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

ita, I'm with you. I refuse to even consider otherwise, because aside from my personal feelings, if they goddamn kill off one half of a goddamn gay couple after goddamn killing off almost half their cast last year, I will have problems.

I'll have to see 4 tomorrow but I have to echo ita and dana's sentiment. I was so moved when Ianto said,"It isn't men. It's him. With such, love. So, killing one half of that would be the epitome of Bad Show.

I don't think they need to put such a fine point on the aloneness of Jack by killing off all the major cast members, for cripes sake.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I just watched Warehouse 13, and quite enjoyed it. Like M&Ms, not the best, but yummy anyway.
