A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
What Would've Happened on PUSHING DAISIES If It Hadn’t Been Canceled?
Oh, Bryan Fuller:
The sexual aspect was never too big of a hurdle, because if I was in that situation, I'd throw on a plastic suit and start rubbing. There were ways around that. That seemed like the lowest hurdle of the relationship. It definitely created bigger ones down the line, but they kind of figured that one out. I figured if they didn’t figure that one out pretty quickly, it would be hard to really buy their situation as realistic.
I mean, really, he puts on a condom and you go to town.
I mean, really, he puts on a condom and you go to town.
Wouldn't that have to be condom bicycle shorts at the very least? And then there are hands. What do you do with your hands?
I mean, I guess a full body bondage suit + condom + gloves might take care of it. What do you call that though? Necessity kink?

What if the condom breaks?!! Would Ned's swimmers have killed Chuck? (insert your own little death/big death jokes here)
I was sorta into the whole Wolverine/Rogue pairing for a while after the first X-Men came out, and the fanfic writers came up with A LOT of creative way to get around the no-touching issue.
I am, of course, now imagining a full-body suit and gloves made of very thin supple lambskin leather.
That... wouldn't be so bad, really...
Star Trek "Shore Leave"
"Captain's log stardate three oh two five....uh, point three." Hah!
I kinda of assumed that Chuck and Ned had already figured out how to get it on. there was one ep and a shot of the bed with the plastic divider, and it just seemed logical that they were doing it, even if it was just rubbing.
Yeah, honestly I figured Ned wouldn't have time to construct that handholding partition in his car until after more urgently needed contraptions had been built and field tested.
Robin Hood has been axed:
[link]
WHOA! There is a massive spoiler for the Robin Hood season/series finale in the first sentence of Fiona's link. If you care at all, don't go there.
The canceling doesn't surprise me after hearing that Armstrong didn't want to continue. It felt as if the fun just went out of the show. I'll miss Richard Armitage in long hair, but I'm sure he'll pop up somewhere else soon.
Serial:
Having just watched the last episode of Robin Hood I have to ask,
Did anyone seriously expect the show to go on?
Why didn't
they just SAY it was the finale?
Quite apart from
the faintly courageous, "We are Robin Hood,"
which was a call back to a previous season,
they could not have gone on with the remaining cast.
Much as I love George Kennedy...and I really DO,
unless they gave Much's character a bionic makeover, Sam Troughton could not have carried the show.
Just seems oddly unrealistic and a waste of opportunity to make a
clean break.
Plus,
who didn't see the last two scenes coming?
Lazy writing, sad to say.
