Awwww. Roslin and Adama.
'Shindig'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Gaeta has been pissing me off further and further. I know some people dig his character, but once he came out of the background, I have never really taken to him, and lately he just irks me. No, Gaius is a joke, but at least he sometimes offers ridiculous humour, but I really dislike - no, hate- Gaeta. He mopes and bitches and is just ugly (attitude-wise), and I really don't care at this point that Anders shot him and he lost his leg. That shit should have been dealt with way back when. I'm sure there's logic and reasoning for him, but I just. do. not. give a fuck. Dude brings me down more than the entirety of "Sometimes a Great Notion".
Seriously, Gaeta needs to get some gangrene or something. Actually I wouldn't mind seeing the old man airlock him.
So this episode is basically one big set up to a badass looking promo?
Sorry I know I'm being really down on this episode.
Oh, this is DEFINITELY after the webisodes. At the end of the webisodes he was strongly anti-Cylon and had decided to go to the Admiral with that and obviously, knew that he'd be forced to go underground.
I can't believe you guys didn't recognize Hot Dog.
Man, it is all frakked up now.
I'm not particularly down on the ep, because I think I'm being riled by what they want me to be riled by... by that which they want me to be riled? Anyway, they seem to be setting us up for a righteous showdown, and I look forward to it, but, oy, getting there is rough.
That's why I keep my dramas at the beginning and the end of the week... the adrenaline never fades. Well it does then the promos come on.
Hee.
Dear Tyrol,
Abandoning your dying toddler in the hospital? Yeah, I hope you die now. Which is a shame because you used to be one of my favorite characters.
I know this was mainly a bottle ep, but I really loved it. Lots of good meaty character stuff.
Maybe someone can clarify for me, though - Cottle said that Cally knew Hot Dog was the dad? In which case...why did she try to kill herself & Aaron? If she knew he wasn't half-Cylon, I mean.
Cally might have known he was the dad, but maybe RDM didn't. I wonder if there's a good reason for them to make sure he's not half skinjob.
Tyrol was coming back to the kid, though.
