Get up...get up, you stupid piece of... What did you do that for? What's wrong with you? Didn't you hear a word he said? All of you! You think there's someone just going to drop money on you?! Money they could use?! Well, there ain't people like that. There's just people like me.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

We STILL haven't met the Cylon God, whom I'm convinced is an actual being (or at least ginormous computer being).

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

We STILL haven't met the Cylon God, whom I'm convinced is an actual being (or at least ginormous computer being).

I'll agree this far -- there does seem to be a master hand behind events, someone or something orchestrating everything.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I am so going to laugh if they all wake up with Matrix-style computer jacks in the final episode and it turns out that everything was a big virtual reality simulation.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

I'm telling you, I totally think that when they saw earth at the end of last season, I was hoping for a shot of the human battery fields.

Or, we'd see T2.

I think that would have been WAY cool.

Sounds to me like they are going in a different direction though...

Sophia - you were spoiled for the webisodes by comments about "Sometimes a Great Notion"?

Or spoiled for the webisodes by comments about the webisodes.

Because I believe that events in the webisodes take place after Sometimes a Great Notion. Possibly in between 4.11 and 4.12.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

The webisodes definitely take place after "Great Notion." IIRC, they start six days after they found Earth, and from what they said in Great Notion, that ep only spanned two-three days at the most. I'm guessing Gaeta's haggard appearance in Webisode Ep 1 resulted from not only the post-Earth aftermath, but also Dee's death.

Art Crawl!!!

BTW, with Ellen now known to be the Fifth, I'm ready to believe that the Final Five were nothing special just happened to be saved randomly saved somehow to be resurrected this time around.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Then how would Ellen know it was going to happen?

In an "it's happened before, it will happen again" kind of way - it was a religious belief not sure knowledge.

(That was what I thought when she said it.)
