Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

The webisodes definitely take place after "Great Notion." IIRC, they start six days after they found Earth, and from what they said in Great Notion, that ep only spanned two-three days at the most. I'm guessing Gaeta's haggard appearance in Webisode Ep 1 resulted from not only the post-Earth aftermath, but also Dee's death.

Art Crawl!!!

BTW, with Ellen now known to be the Fifth, I'm ready to believe that the Final Five were nothing special just happened to be saved randomly saved somehow to be resurrected this time around.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Then how would Ellen know it was going to happen?

Art Crawl!!!

In an "it's happened before, it will happen again" kind of way - it was a religious belief not sure knowledge.

(That was what I thought when she said it.)

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Huh - I though she said "It's all arranged" as if she (and the others) had a specific plan to come back.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Sophia - you were spoiled for the webisodes by comments about "Sometimes a Great Notion"?

A comment in the webisodes before the actual episode aired talked about Ellen Tigh and Kara finding her own body.

Oh.

Stupid Hulu commenters.

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Oh, I was thinking you meant a comment in one of the actual webisodes themselves. I was trying to think back where it could have been and realized I didn't like the webisodes enough to watch the whole thing for it.

I didn't know it took place after the televised episode so Gaeta's appearance really does have more impact. I thought he was just depressed about Earth at the time. Poor Dualla.

Huh - I though she said "It's all arranged" as if she (and the others) had a specific plan to come back.

My take, too. She told him not to worry, because they would be reborn together. Definitely sounded like a plan and not a hope.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Definitely sounded like a plan and not a hope.

Agreed. Now I think the only question is whether it was a small group of them set to come back, or everybody, or somewhere in between.
