Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

'Bushwhacked'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I do believe in killing the messenger, you know why? Because it sends a message. ~ Damon Salvatore

it's the sister show to Life on Mars.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

I tried aheming Ashes to Ashes last night, but it wasn't cooperating.

Victor Garber, unsurprisingly, is being wasted in Eli Stone. The pilot was cute enough, but last night's episode was clunky with extra clunk.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Mine's going okay now -- don't know if you're in a position to try to restart it.

So TV and I were on a break for a while. Apparently we're back together. Huh.

I saw the first episode of Eli Stone, and it made me angry on a surprising number of levels. It seemed like a Hallmark TV movie written by Deepak Chopra.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

The second episode -- and I hope I'm not spoiling anything here -- taught me that illegal immigration is a complex issue.

Crap. Does that mean I have to pay attention to something other than hairstyles this election?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Does that mean I have to pay attention to something other than hairstyles this election?

Well Romney (aka Guy Smiley) dropping out took THE HAIR out of the election, so there's less of that pay attention to.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

illegal immigration is a complex issue.

Hell, Phil Collins taught us that years ago when he sang, "It's no fun being an illegal alien."

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

Well, since no one's talking about "Smallville," let me just say that the Black Canary? Royally sucked. I mean OH MY GOD bad.

But any episode with Green Arrow's got something going for it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I saw a trailer for the Black Canary episode, and it brought pain.
