Invader Zim had a Terminator-esque episode, where GIR's head exploded when he tried to understand a time paradox.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I have massive love for that ep.
I think it was the first Sealab I ever saw. I was hooked immediately.
Ah, but if Kyle Reese doesn't go back in time and warn Sarah Connor about Skynet, then Judgement Day happens anyway because nobody was trying to stop it.
mmmm...good point.
And I have to say, I find the producers' statements I've seen to the effect that the films aren't all consistent, so the show doesn't have to be, somewhat lazy.
this.
giving a 1997 date for that scene is definitely going to raise a fuss among Terminator fans
also this.
I loved the scene at the end with Derek watching Cameron dance.
Also, the name of the episode was "The Demon Hand" - clearly it should have been called "Evil Hand" or "Evil Hand Issues."
if they DO stop Skynet and prevent Judgement Day, Kyle Reese will never be sent into the past & John Connor will never be born in the first place
Hush, that's the final episode where Sarah Connor is a mild mannered accountant with 3 daughters.
I love time travel wonkiness. Just love, don't overthink.
Are people really getting worked up over time paradoxes? Don't you know that it's all just wibbly-wobbly... timey-wimey... Stuff?
Are people really getting worked up over time paradoxes?
Have you met us?
i'm not getting worked up over paradoxes. they're inevitable when it comes to time travel shtuff. what i am getting worked up over is the writers changing history for no apparent reason.
What history? The writers are saying that the TV show has separate continuity from the movies. Handwave! Poof! History is gone!
If it worked for Buffy, why not SCC?
Oh, speaking of Buffy, when we were watching Torchwood- "Adam" last night, upon first seeing Adam, Tom said, "hey, that guy looks a little like Joss Whedon. Which is entirely appropriate given that they ripped off a storyline from his show!"
I liked Jonathan better than Adam, though.
