Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

'Same Time, Same Place'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

I've reached a place where I just have to look ahead and see where the Ronan-centered episodes are. I watch those for the yummy, try to contain my embarrassment at the atrocious writing, and skip all the other episodes. I'm making a Ronan tape so I can just keep some of those around and not bother with the rest.

I look back at some of the writing I've done in the past and think "Okay that's really not very good"... but compared with SGA's writing I'm Patricia McKillip.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

My thoughts are: when are we going to get to the Derek and Cameron Chronicles?

Sarah and John just don't grab me.

Did she just psychically talk to Riley? or not psycically or talk without moving her mouth or something?

I had my head turned away the Where's John sounded weird, and then Riley cocked her head I thought maybe it was special terminator communication

Charlie just lost me. "I need to put pressure on the wound!"

Dude, you're an EMT, you live in bumpy vehicles. And apparently what you meant was not "put pressure on the wound" but "continue to uselessly hug my wife". Grrr!

I also wanted to slap Sarah. Um, future of mankind vs. old flames new flame? Oh, my heart bleeds.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Exactly what I was yelling.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Still way better than last week's nucular fiasco (I fully expected SOMEBODY to pronounce it that way).
