Now that I've said I'm hopeful about an eventual return for Stark, and read the writer's blog, now I'm back to nervous again.

If he doesn't, I'm really sad they never got to go back to the relationship between Henry and Stark, because lord knows they destroyed that in Season 2.

The product placement this week threw me, because I didn't know what I was looking at, and was wondering why the camera seemed to focusing on this mysterious thing Carter put by the sink. So that was annoying.

I'll give Lexi a non-repetitve ep before I fully commit to this statement, but sister gots to go. And definitely before the baby is born. Maybe Dr. WHO can come sweep her back to wherever he came from.

And we so need more Henry/Jack, stat!

I don't disagree. It had the ring of "You just have to have a little faith". But there was also some sense of meta to it, like the writers were telling us that no matter what happens (Stark dying), it's going to work out and we'll be happy in the end (Stark coming back eventually, although not necessarily into Allison's arms). It's a stretch, but my mind works in funny ways (hearing the things that I want to).

I loved the episode. I mean, sorry to see Stark go, but if that's what it takes for the show to RAWK then that's what it takes. But I do wonder how many times they can play with the timeline before they start bumping into themselves.

I'm with Jon, that Allison marries Carter is a very possible interpretation. Of course I'm guessing that Stark dying is emphatically not what Allison thinks is supposed to happen. So now we're at sometimes shitty things happen and they hurt like hell and it just is, there is no grand scheme that makes it all work out right.

Juliebird, I went ahead and deleted the whole thing. I think, as a spoiler, it doesn't belong in this thread at all. If there's dissent, we can work it out, but that's my current understanding of our policy.

On to the episode, first the product placement is making me crazy. I know it's supposed to be all in-your-face, but it's making me hate the product. The camera focus on it makes me think it's an item of import to the storyline, but it's not, it's an item of import to the pocketbook. About which I do not care.

Second, for serious, about Stark. And starkers Stark. Couldn't the time fairy dust have evaporated his clothes first or something? I mean, really, people.

Third, on camera, all we saw Stark do was plug in a pair of USB cables. If Fargo couldn't have handled that, I dunno that he should be loose in the company at all. Not that I want dead Fargo!

Anyway, I really liked the repetition and thought it did have nuances of meaning each time. I also think it's good that Carter had a chance to work through how he and Ally felt, before the loop closed in.

That said, I am tired of the lack of agency again. This is the second time that Carter has gone through iterations of his relationship and feelings about her...without her. Not on.

Lastly, so does this mean the new lady wasn't up to no good? Confused.
