Mal: You tell me right now, little Kaylee, you really think you can do this? Kaylee: Sure. Yeah. I think so. 'Sides, if I mess up, not like you'll be able to yell at me.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Oh, for god's sake. That "Get him to the wedding on time..." makes me nervous.

Oh, and I love the repeat of "I love that show!" Hee.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I... I... just... no!

I sat with my hand over my mouth the minute Stark said something nice to Fargo, and it stayed there until I had to turn off the TV to avoid wrestling.'

Just... no.

I mean, it was wonderfully subtle where I thought nothing had happened at first. They snuck it up on us, all the while telegraphing that it was going to happen.

But, no. For at least two reasons: no more Stark snark, no more of the Stark & Carter Show. And secondly, don't make Stark's death the next stumbling block between Allison and Carter, because I know they're going down that road and want to put up as many obstacles as possible, so this is just horrid.

And then there's the vidder in me seeing so much potential with the wedding dress and the scenes that can be interpreted as Carter marrying Allison, and I'm madly gleeful.

Oh, Quinn!

Odd how we get another ep dealing in time travel and another loved one dies. I see a fetish amongst the writers.

I am so tempted to go find some spoiler sites, or even just check imdb to see if he's listed on more episodes for the season. Waaaaah, I don't want Stark to go, either.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Anybody else think that Carter's going to forget to give the necklace to Allison, and somehow that's to key to getting Stark back?

Because I'm not at ALL convinced Stark is gone for good.

But, oh yeah - some serious HSQ there. Damn, that was Whedon worthy.

What is even happening?

I call that tonight on Eureka, since it is the Groundhog Day episode, that the "for one of these people tonight will be the end" means that someone or ones will die a horrible (or funny) death, but then the day starts over and everyone is alive and well and Carter keeps them from dying (or leaving) EVER.

Or at least that's my explanation for the promo monkeys for saying shit like that.

Would that it were.

Also? What the hell? I respect a show that will kill off characters, because Joss dragged me up right, but Nathan? Nathan? Nathan? What the hell were they thinking?

(Sorry CFerg, it's just...oof.)
