When the magma/lava was venting, I thought "I hope that there aren't any fish in that lake"
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
There sure aren't now!
Was the pocket of magma under the town? Will parts of it collapse now that the magma is gone?! Inquiring minds!
Apparently not very soon. I see two new episodes and a repeat from season 2 up on the TV Guide website.
does anyone know when?
It's up on hulu right now!
Oh, and for fun -- my friend Dave's Why Flash Gordon is Better Than Star Wars, which includes such gems as:
SW - Half-formed pseudo-religion of The Force, which, particularly in later films, would mire itself in contradictions and even hypocrisy.
FG - Princess Aura has her own pleasure moon.
SW - Music: John Williams (Pom, pom, pompity-pom, pom, etc.)
FG - Music: Queen (FLASH! [BOOOOOOM] AH-AAAAAAA....)
SW - Half-formed pseudo-religion of The Force, which, particularly in later films, would mire itself in contradictions and even hypocrisy.
FG - Princess Aura has her own pleasure moon.
I think you could end that second one at "Princess Aura"
I just finished watching s4 of The 4400 on DVD (sob). Is this where that would be discussed? Is it too late? I did hear, long, long ago, that it was cancelled, but I forgot when I picked up the DVDs, and now, well, I'm almost ok with it being over, but really want to discuss with someone where they think it might have gone afterwards, and all that.
I enjoy Eureka. Sometimes I wish it had a bit more subtlety, but the acting and my affection for many of the characters keep me watching.
This would be the place to discuss the 4400.
Finally got around to watching that episode of Fear, Itself with Colin. Holy Shit that was a nasty piece of work. Brilliantly done in its way, and well acted, but dear lord - I remember when the folks getting the horrible fates remotely deserved it for at least SOME personal failing. This goes up with the movie INSIDE (which I cannot even remotely recommend to anyone except the most diehard, hardcore, extreme, I AM NOT KIDDING, horror fans) as the most depressing ending to a filmed horror story where some characters survive (for the moment).
