It's good to have cargo. Makes us a target for every other scavenger out there, though, but sometimes that's fun too.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Was he also Knight Rider's creator?

Yes.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Bruce Davison was also the original Willard.

Question - does anyone know how SCC has been doing ratings-wise?

Never fall in love with somebody you actually love.

It's lost 10 million viewers since it premiered. It's down to 8 million now, although the drop off has slowed week to week muchly. Although it's still falling.

It's not a TV hit. And it's about to end as they didn't produce many episodes pre-strike. But I'd imagine it will return in the fall, or January.

A turkey in every toilet -- only in America!

Re. the basement. We've been speculating elsewhere that the soldiers might have been "reprogrammed" (or brainwashed, I guess you can call it), in parallel to the terminators being reprogrammed at the resistance headquarters.

Ooooh... good theory!

Thanks for the Bruce Davison ID.

Whoah! He starred in Lathe of Heaven!

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Last night, I managed to watch 40 minutes of my tape of Sarah Connor Chronicles.

This is not satisfying.

You always do this. We get tipsy, and you take advantage of my love of the scientific method.

Whoah! He starred in Lathe of Heaven!

Yes, he did. He was also in "Spies Like Us."

Trust my rage

My theory is that Cameron's not "going bad" as much as she is contemplating what it means to destroy her own kind - or maybe even be "her kind." They've shown lots of lingering shots of her face looking at the chess robots and other robots.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

At first I thought she was storing flesh to repair herself--is she going to keep that cut forever? And I thought the schmutz over her left eyebrow was a remnant of a wound from the first big battle, but future maybe Cameron had the same mark.

I've been watching Star Trek TOS quite religiously recently, and have been surprisingly impressed by some episodes. At first I'd thought I didn't like it as much as I'd assumed, and then I thought I liked it more. But turns out that some of the eps area laughable and some are keepers.

I adore Spock beyond reason. I also have a fair crush on Paris in Mission: Impossible.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I loved Star Trek TOS to death as a kid, so I find it hard to objectively judge now. But yeah, Spock was always my favorite character. Plus there was something tragic to him where the only time he was ever happy was when he was under the influence of some alien spore.

(Whitefont just in case ita doesn't want to be spoiled for the EP with the spores...)
