A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Who 4x11
So good! Although I'm a little cheesed that they're hinting at Donna having been a super-special-magic-baby-with-a-destiny. Isn't she awesome enough all on her own?
I laughed muchly at
Gramps stating that Donna couldn't save/change the world by shouting at it. Yes, yes she can!
Since I haven't watched
The Sarah Jane Adventures, on the news report, were the teenagers listed as dead part of that show as well? I thought they were younger.
Who 4.11:
I need to watch it again (oh, the hardship), because I found some of the writing a bit clunky, which is way too bad, because I love the concept and story of the ep. It was terribly elegantly constructed (I had the Saxon thought, too. And moving the Adipose to the US made perfect sense).
Next week is going to be brilliant and I'm so glad that I got up-to-date on all 3 Who-verse series within the past couple weeks.
I am going to be petty and note that I found Billie Piper's delivery off-putting (not least due to whatever dental issues she's got going on)
eta: Julie,
yes, they were. That's 2/3 of the kids on the show, and I think we're given to assume that the other one would have been there, as well. That one actually bothered me just a little because there's no change in the timeline that, to me, would have meant that they would have been there in the alt-verse, but not the real one (the Doctor hadn't really interfered before the hospital went up to the Moon)
Who 4.11
I wish they'd given her better hair for the ep, and maybe a better wardrobe, or maybe a more mature wardrobe to tell the story of how she has a more responsible and serious job. Some sign that's she's changed and different and more grown-up.
Who 4.11:
I hear you on that. I'd love to know how she got UNIT (I'm assuming it's UNIT) listening to her. Although I suppose a TARDIS key would go a long way.
Who 4.11:
Yeah, what was up with
Billie Piper's speech? It was really distracting. She didn't always sound like that, did she?
Who 4.11:
No, she didn't. According to the Internets, she was having trouble remembering/replicating the Rose voice, and she has new veneers on her teeth (thus the lisp)
Who 4.11:
I didn't realize
Rose had a "special" voice. Huh.
Whatever. Next week,
IANTO!
Who 4.11: Apparently, with the
lots of acting (esp period stuff), her normal speaking voice has gotten posher (*This is what the Internet told me disclaimer). But it makes sense that she'd have a particular way of speaking for the character, distinct from her own normal way.
Also,
I know! And Everyone Else Ever!
DW 4.11
Holy Hell
everyone indeed. I can't wait, I want next week to be this week already.
DW 4.11
I kept trying to figure out who the
Asian fortuneteller
was.
About a half hour after watching, I finally figured it out.
She is
the actress who played Chantho, from last season's Utopia, Chipo Chung.
