I was just reading the Flick Filosopher talk about the shows she's looking forward to seeing this summer, and Eureka is one of them:

I did not enjoy last night's episode of Fear Itself, which was probably the worst episode of television I've ever seen, though I thought the first one was decent. But this one was even worse than the episode of Charmed that completely ripped-off Disney's The Little Mermaid.

After turning off Viva Laughlin soon after seeing Hugh Jackman do "Sympathy for the Devil" well, but not enough to make me stick around, I just want to watch Viva Blackpool now, but it's not available on DVD, damnit! And, AFAIK, BBCAmerica has no intentions of rerunning it anytime soon.

Admittedly I only saw the final 20 minutes or so of last week's episode, but it didn't strike me as all that terrible even if there were some major plot holes. Was there something in the first half more traumatic than Melanie Griffith singing?
