A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I was just reading the Flick Filosopher talk about the shows she's looking forward to seeing this summer, and Eureka is one of them:
Eureka (returns July 29 on Sci Fi): It’s all about a town full of geeks, and they’re cool, too. When they’re not accidentally about to blow up the planet. If Frank Capra made science fiction, this is what it would look like: this is a sweet, funny, good-natured show about jes folks who just happen to be geniuses.
I did not enjoy last night's episode of Fear Itself, which was probably the worst episode of television I've ever seen, though I thought the first one was decent. But this one was even worse than the episode of Charmed that completely ripped-off Disney's The Little Mermaid.
Now I'm psyched to see it. Because I've seen some crap TV. Not that you haven't, but I wonder what my love for Eric Roberts will do to my impression of the episode.

Didn't tune in to see if Viva Laughlin could be as bad as they predicted, eh?

Oh, I did. This was worse.
After turning off Viva Laughlin soon after seeing Hugh Jackman do "Sympathy for the Devil" well, but not enough to make me stick around, I just want to watch Viva Blackpool now, but it's not available on DVD, damnit! And, AFAIK, BBCAmerica has no intentions of rerunning it anytime soon.
Admittedly I only saw the final 20 minutes or so of last week's episode, but it didn't strike me as all that terrible even if there were some major plot holes. Was there something in the first half more traumatic than Melanie Griffith singing?
I didn't bother tuning in when I realized that HJ wouldn't be a regular, and when I saw some scenes where they basically were lip-synching... badly.
eta
you mean it wasn't cancelled right away?
Well, it hadn't been cancelled by the time the second episode started airing, though I think that was only on the third day following the premiere. Maybe the execs were travelling that weekend and only had the chance to call in the kill order afterwards?
Ok, was it just me, or was that scene where the Doctor woke from his reminiscence about Charlemagne the hottest David Tennant has ever looked?
