I'm really worried for Lance. Methinks Darhk's smile when Green Arrow crashed his recruiting party is because he intentionally left that note to setup Lance.
Yeah, that note might as well have had a giant "P.S. This is a trap" written on it.
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

Yup. We kept yelling "It's a TRAP!", a la Admiral Akbar.
Interesting that the Lazarus Pit is defense against Darhk's life-sucking mojo.
It almost looked like it hurt him (not much, but a little).
I was underwhelmed by this ep of arrow. The writing felt weaker than the last 2 eps. It makes me sad because I want Diggle to have more stuff and this ep was touted as a Diggle ep and it felt meh. I need to start tracking the writers because I think I am developing clear favorites.
It wasn't a *bad* episode, but it just felt like they were treading water, waiting to kick off Legends of Tomorrow.

It did. He briefly got bloody-eyed and veiny.
I really didn't like the handheld shots for some of the fight scenes. It gave it a very documentary feel that is at odds with the tone of the show. It also made it very obvious the characters weren't actually hitting their opponents at points.
Oh, my God, Neal McDonough. At the end, when Oliver is giving his speech, there is no reaction from Damien, except for a tiny little nostril flair. So awesome.
The ep was directed by the stunt coordinator. His first time directing. I too thought the handheld camera work in the fight between the rail cars was odd. I almost never notice stunt doubles unless I look for them. Things moving fast I just don't notice it.
Oh, my God, Neal McDonough.
He is just killing it as Damien Darhk. I don't think even Malcolm Merlyn is as gleefully evil as Darhk is.
Evil wizards have been an archetype for centuries for good reason.
So, Sleepy Hollow just went full-on Gift.
