Gunn: The final score can't be rigged. I don't care how many players you grease, that last shot always comes up a question mark. But here's the thing. You never know when you're taking it. It could be when you're duking it out with the Legion of Doom, or just crossing the street deciding where to have brunch. So you just treat it like it was up to you—the world in balance—'cause you never know when it is.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yup, that was good times and looks promising for the series. Yay.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I've never seen the movies, but I'm tempted to watch the series anyway.

Go for it. The movies are also fun, but it's not like they are full of crucial information that you will be lost without.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I haven't watched the show, but does Kane's hairstyle get less ridic?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

If not, does he say "I can't believe it's not butter!" at any point?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Was it just me or was that the most anti-climactic, boring episode of OUAT?

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm not really sure what's going on with OUAT. The main story line seems to be resolved, but the Rumplestiltskin story line is supposed to generate another hour of drama?

On the other hand, I liked Kristoff's "If that's what marriage is like, then I want no part of it!" moment.

And when exactly did Rumple decide to go all bad and power hungry again? Last season ended with him wanting to honor his son's sacrifice, and this season started with him being all deceptive and evil. There was no transition there.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

His killing the wicked witch and then concealing the fact was a pretty big hint. And he could not quite bring himself to give the real dagger to Belle, slipping her a fake and keeping it instead. (I think that latter was early this season.) So we see him slip step by step. I mean even back in the past when full blown evil he wipe his own memory to honor his sons sacrifice. Which did not keep him from being full blown evil. So foreshadowed pretty well.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I believe the lesson from OUAT is "Hate drives out love. Love drives out hate. No, wait. First you get the women, then you get the money, then you... okay, can we forget that?" All those years of hate wiped away in five minutes with one scrap of paper.

Also, what keeps Hook from telling Emma that Rumple has his heart?
