'Beneath You'
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
I'm watching Gotham. Just posting every intermittently.
I actually think Bruce is well on his way to being psycho bat man. It has only been a few months since his parents died. He is already obsessed and essentially cut off from everyone but Alfred. it does not look like he will see Cat all that often. Don't worry about the "nice. Give him a year or two down this path and he will lose the "nice".

Ditto.
I'm hoping for "Batman: Odyssey" Batman, myself.
It's weirdly darkly OTT. But it's made me appreciate Cobblepot, and that ain't nothing.
I don't get any psycho-in-training vibes off of him. He's definitely focussed on finding his parent's killers, and learning discipline (I imagine he does already has Sun Tsu memorised), but he's far from pulling a full Winchester.

I do think so. I kinda zoned out on the earlier episodes, but the more recent ones (even one heavily focussed on Bruce not being able to fit in in Gotham for shit) have compelled me more.
Yeah, I like Gotham fine for something to watch. But I don't have anything to say about it.
Is no one watching Gotham, or is it not interesting enough to discuss?
I'm watching, just caught up on this week. Sometimes I feel like this is some kind of AU Gotham where Bruce does not become Batman, but maybe they will pull off the progression, somehow. I really enjoyed that "can you teach me to fight?" exchange with Alfred.
I also like Selina's goggles, although this childhood relationship between the two of them boggles me.
I do feel like the show is generally getting better. Although I'm not sure I get exactly what it is trying to do, I have more of a sense that somebody does.
I'm sure I had stuff to say about The Flash and Sleepy Hollow, too, but I forgot. Probably someone else already said anything I would have come up with of interest by now anyway.
Starting to watch Grimm reminded me that I meant to comment on last week's Grimm - I appreciated the Alice in Wonderland touch of Adelind's baby turning into a pig.
