'Sleeper'

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

No, I'd gotten that impression as well.

I am the fly who dreams of the spider

I'm several eps behind, but the casting director did good on casting Corbin's son, Zach Appelman totally has Clancy Brown's eyes.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Speaking of Clancy Brown, a new Flash trailer!

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

Just in case anyone was wondering, the coda to Doctor Who this week - still giggle-inducing hilarious, especially Capaldi's one raised eyebrow which I hadn't noticed the first time from laughing too hard that it was Nick Fucking Frost as St. Nick.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Really? We weren't home last night -- have to watch it tonight.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I feel like Danny Pink was a far better person than this show deserved.

Absolutely. Walking him into traffic was a horrible end--it was a pretty horrible (in a good way) episode.

I love Abbie's side eye. If I can find good stills I will do a portrait of them--his eyebrow raised, her side eying.

brillig

I didn't watch Forever last night, I didn't want to deal with another dominatrix episode. It has often been quite enjoyable, but I'm guiltily hoping it'll get cancelled so I don't have to blame myself for not watching it.

Judd Hirsch's character and his relationship with Dr. Henry is a big reason I like it, plus the lack of UST with the female detective. And the ME assistant--wasn't he an intern on Bones after Zack left?--is fun, quirky but competent.

Compassionately intolerant

Totally. One of my favorites.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Although the scene of a shirtless Dr. Henry did help.
