Although the scene of a shirtless Dr. Henry did help.
Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
The ME assistant, and Sergeant Lou Wu from GRIMM should get together in a bar one night and compare job experiences.
I have waited for this moment for 2 1/2 years.
Motherfucking BOXING GLOVE ARROW. Awwwwww YEAH.
"Mine's bigger."
Oh, look. Laurel has another expression. It's a pout.
BOXING GLOVE ARROW
I thought they did that very well.
I'm good with Roy as Arsenal. That's excellent.
I also basically like Ted Grant, which I didn't expect.
And it occurs to me that this show is just sneakily assembling its own Justice League -- Green Arrow, Arsenal, Black Canary, Wildcat, the Atom, the Flash, possibly Katana (if the wife in the flashbacks is indeed going to be Katana, and it seems like she is).
I don't think they'd actually *become* a group of any kind, but still -- I'm loving the possibility that they COULD.
Boxing glove arrow moment was sweet. But I wasn't that big on the rest of this episode. Not that this show is ever subtle or anything, but boy howdy, the weight of the anvils was mighty in this one.
I do love the fact that Roy hasn't met a bad guy he won't try parkour on.
And when Ollie lit the candle for the gay porn meditation and Roy said "this is weird," I said "Roy, you speak for all of us."
I did a little fist pump and yelled in delight at the boxing glove arrow. That was absolutely perfect.
I actually liked Laurel in this episode (though it would be nice if 90% of Katie Cassidy's reaction shots weren't her staring with an expression that looks like a mix of disgust and surprise.) I think it's one of the rare times she stood up to Ollie when she was in the right.
So apparently whoever killed Sara threw the arrows using super strength?
Nice that Wildcat really is a former vigilante.
