A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Her haircut is AWESOME.
Yes, I love it!
I'm really troubled by the fact that, for 2 episodes in a row now, there has been NO SALMON LADDER.
Also this.
I am pretty shallow right at the moment I guess.
Liking the Flash very much, although I don't really have anything to say about it just now.
A friendemy on "Arrow". "People running around shooting arrows and stuff is great. And then the Arrow opens his mouth."
It seems stating the obvious to say I didn't know that
Superman?
Chris Evans was also a superhero before Scott Pilgrim (FF4), so he was just keeping on keeping on.
...and clearly I didn't remember that, either.
I retract my former statement and substitute this: "Hey, Scott Pilgrim sure likes to use superheroes!"
(Seriously, if I ever knew, I forgot. And yet I opened my big mouth anyway. It's a thing.)
I never saw Brandon's Superman movie, but even after seeing him on Chuck, once I saw Scott Pilgrim he's ALWAYS been "Todd the Vegan"
Seriously - "Chicken cordon bleu isn't vegan?"
I'm just now watching S1 of Sleepy Hollow, and I can't believe they had Clancy Brown for the pilot and got rid of him so quickly. If you have a Clancy Brown, you use your Clancy Brown! (My reaction, unsurprisingly, was "Lex Luthor!")
OTOH, if a show is willing to kill off Clancy Brown's character in the first 10 minutes, that's kind of ballsy and badass.
(I still can't believe I didn't watch this last year.)
A few moments I’ve loved these past couple of weeks: Ichabod’s reaction to the two men holding hands in the coffee shop...because hat = rude! Also the headphones moment this week.
And on OUaT, I loved the moment when Hook explains how little he knows about using cell phones.
I think the bulk of the Sleepy Hollow people are the Fringe people, and I will follow them to HELL if they want me to.
I ended up having huge (but different) issues with Lost and Alias, but Fringe managed to work it out just right in its batshit crazy way. IMO.
I never watched Alias (I don't know why, I just didn't) and Lost had its ups and downs. I am with you on the Fringe love. That show really worked for me.
I loved every second of Alias (even the terrible season with Vaughn's wife!) but gave up on Lost after S2, and have tried valiantly to watch Fringe 3 times now on Netflix but I always lose interest after 2-3 eps.
