What? I'm not allowed to hit people? Wesley: Not people capable of genocide. Angel: Those are exactly the types of people I should be allowed to hit!

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I think the bulk of the Sleepy Hollow people are the Fringe people, and I will follow them to HELL if they want me to.

I ended up having huge (but different) issues with Lost and Alias, but Fringe managed to work it out just right in its batshit crazy way. IMO.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I never watched Alias (I don't know why, I just didn't) and Lost had its ups and downs. I am with you on the Fringe love. That show really worked for me.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I loved every second of Alias (even the terrible season with Vaughn's wife!) but gave up on Lost after S2, and have tried valiantly to watch Fringe 3 times now on Netflix but I always lose interest after 2-3 eps.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

Fringe , like some other shows, takes a while to find its feet in the first season. I definitely got stuck partway through for a long while, then raced through the rest when it started getting good. You might try jumping to Episode 7, that's when the arc for Season 1 really starts.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

LOVED Alias. Even the batshit crazy arcs.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I mostly enjoyed Alias, and then it got to the end of the season, and none of the arcs were resolved, and they just kind of hit the reset button, and it pissed me off.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Alias never worked for me, and LOST somehow kept me watching (for the characters, I guess), but I was stone-cold in love with Fringe almost from the start, and especially after we got seriously into the alternative timelines. I came away with the sense that they respected their viewers, and wanted to play right with the characters, too.

Danger is my middle name, only I spell it R. u. t. h. - Tina Belcher.

I join Theo in the Fringe love. I seriously plan to do a complete rewatch soon.

I stuck with it through bot Alias and LOST so I feel like I earned Fringe!

I am with Theo and quester with the Fringe love, but the first season took a while to find it's legs. It was a bit of an X-Files knock-off for a ways there.

I can definitely feel the Fringe folks fingerprints all over Sleepy Hollow, and not just because they brought in John Noble.

The status is NOT quo.

I really loved this week's Doctor Who. Old school monsters with some spots of humor and rumblings of Things to Come.
