Knew I'd seen this before online:
And it's a Threadless t-shirt! [link]
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.
Ok, had to get that out first, because I totally geeked out in a big way. I KNEW i'd seen the new sheriff in something, and I and he replied that she'd been in "House of Cards." She's Sakina Jaffrey, and played Linda Vasquez -- I replied she was great in that role, and it was great to see more badass ladies on SH, and she RT and favorited my tweet.
I never fail to read House of Cards as House of Lies and couldn't think who you were talking about. According to her imdb page she was also in Heroes and Law & Order, which is probably where I recognized her from.
Then it hit me - you know what they held the head to the body with? HANDWAVIUM!
Ha! I love this show so much and don't see to care how much handwavium they need to use. Also, I can never resist saying that John Noble continues to be awesome.
PBS is rebroadcasting the original House of Cards, if anyone's interested.
Having Selfie on in the background while cooking dinner has convinced me that I need never watch any of the 11th Doctor episodes if there's even a chance of Karen Gillan being in them.
What I don't get is how Katrina is going to get any information she gleans to Crane and Abby. Witchy powers, I suppose?
The incantation to raise the Kindred (that is a very fine monster! I hope he hasn't disappeared into the void) sounded familiar so I googled. Lovecraft. I'm not sure what to make of that. And Crane
I love that Irving put the head in a safety deposit box. And Crane's rant.
I like the new sheriff being all no nonsense AND knowing Abby and Jenny's story from back in the day. Lots of potential there.
Does Forever go in here because of the immortal aspect? I have only watched the first episode so far, but I do not understand how he was able to figure out what poison it was simply by taking it.

Huh.

She's always been able to find a way to contact them before, so probably witchy powers, yes and a generous amount of handwavium.
This Forever show is intriguing so far, this is the first episode I've seen.

I wondered that myself. Are A&C supposed to sneak into Headless HQ every time they need a report? Seems fraught.
Hmm. I'm thinking about looking at that Forever show, see if it's worth my time.
Interesting characters, pleasantly crafted problem, only moderately intrusive flashbacks. And it looks like the potential romance between our hero and the lovely female detective is being foiled by good reasons. I'm unclear on the relationship between Henry and Abe. Is Abe his son?
Abe is indeed his son. Adapted
