Finally caught up on Who - not my favorite episode. Too jumpy to be a fun heist, and the twist was...not much of a twist.
SLEEPY HOLLOW I MISSED YOU! I don't really have intelligent things to say, just flaily hands of glee.
A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.
Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.
Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.
Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.
This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

So, how did Abby end up in purgatory? (I realize that might be a VERY long answer. But I feel like I get the rest of what's going on.)
She switched places with Katrina who was trapped there. The rules say one comes out someone has to take their place. Katrina was supposed to stop the rising of War. That was the last episode of Season 1.
Got it. I should probably watch S1, but I think it makes more or less sense. (Hell, I started watching Buffy in S4 and did just fine.)
At the end of last season, she switched places with Katrina. I'm not 100% clear on how Crane wound up there with her.
You should watch S1 mainly because of the scene where Abbie teaches Crane how to fist-bump. And the scene where she makes him try on modern clothes.
It's always about the Benjamins.
Definitely watch S1 when you get the chance.
Also, if there's a Sleepy Hollow drinking game, there should be a chug whenever John Cho shows up.
And the scene where she makes him try on modern clothes.
I was actually commenting that he needs to swing by Target and get some skinny jeans. And a damn scrunchie.

He ended up getting new clothes from a someone who makes them for Revolutionary War reenactments.
The AVClub can be hit-or-miss, but their review of Gotham is spot-on: [link]
The show is both dark and campy, yet it manages to completely avoid being fun. And I had the same reaction to what they did to Rene Montoya. Way to take a great character and make her unlikeable.
