I can see Oliver being pissed at his mom, but his position of "I will help you maintain this lie because it's best for everyone but HOW DARE YOU NOT TELL IT TO ME" is just...come on, man. Also, I'll keep up appearances but you and I will know that we have no relationship anymore is ridic.

Right? Props to the show for what is apparently the most painfully awkward family dinner in the history of EVER. And wow, I suspect ugly stuff with creepy Dr. Ivo is coming up. (That's not based on the promo, just the season so far.) I hope he dies painfully.

I read some folks speculating that Felicity's deadbeat dad, who *has* to be a DC Comics canon character (or I'll eat my hat) might be Dr. Ivo. Ehhh. That seems waaaaay to far-fetched, even for this show.

I made a couple of quick photoshops for Arrow fans.
Second one is better, and not on the island.
Is there something going on with the actress who plays Laurel offstage? She looks very gaunt since last season, even more than the storyline would warrant. Her face seems...angular.
I assumed it was for the storyline, but she certainly has gotten thin.
As someone who marathoned S1 and went right into season 2, it's a significant change in her appearance.
As for the episode, lesbian assassins FTW.
