Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I read some folks speculating that Felicity's deadbeat dad, who *has* to be a DC Comics canon character (or I'll eat my hat) might be Dr. Ivo. Ehhh. That seems waaaaay to far-fetched, even for this show.

That would be weird as hell.

All is well that ends in pizza.

I made a couple of quick photoshops for Arrow fans.

Second one is better, and not on the island.

Is there something going on with the actress who plays Laurel offstage? She looks very gaunt since last season, even more than the storyline would warrant. Her face seems...angular.

I assumed it was for the storyline, but she certainly has gotten thin.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

As someone who marathoned S1 and went right into season 2, it's a significant change in her appearance.

As for the episode, lesbian assassins FTW.

I figured at the beginning of S2 she was thinner and more glam with the makeup and hair and clothes because of her new job with the DA and wanting to put her CNRI days behind her. And then, you know, addiction and snake venom and whatnot.

Snake venom. ISTG, this show.

Yeah, but she was also angular for the flashback, but they tried to soften her a bit.

OTOH? Her real-life father is dealing with alcohol and multiple DUI arrests lately, so she's probably very familiar with the life.

Well, I just cancelled my Vampire Diaries season pass. I've been irritated by the show for awhile, but this last episode just pushed me over the edge.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

So weird seeing Minka Kelly in a scene with another character named Lila.
