Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I assumed it was for the storyline, but she certainly has gotten thin.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

As someone who marathoned S1 and went right into season 2, it's a significant change in her appearance.

As for the episode, lesbian assassins FTW.

I figured at the beginning of S2 she was thinner and more glam with the makeup and hair and clothes because of her new job with the DA and wanting to put her CNRI days behind her. And then, you know, addiction and snake venom and whatnot.

Snake venom. ISTG, this show.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Yeah, but she was also angular for the flashback, but they tried to soften her a bit.

OTOH? Her real-life father is dealing with alcohol and multiple DUI arrests lately, so she's probably very familiar with the life.

"Oh no! Has falling sky liquid once again caused you the sadness?" -Starfire

Well, I just cancelled my Vampire Diaries season pass. I've been irritated by the show for awhile, but this last episode just pushed me over the edge.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

So weird seeing Minka Kelly in a scene with another character named Lila.

On the digital series for "Grimm," Rosalee (Bree Turner) and Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) gather their girlfriends for a Valentine's Day spa party, only to discover a Zieglevolk casting a love spell among the group. The four-part digital series, titled "Love is in the Air," directed by Chip Touhey and written by Nick Peet, debuts Friday, Feb. 14.

I got my cousin hooked on Arrow, and she follows Stephen Amell on Twitter and FB. She emailed me excitedly earlier today because he had tweeted about it.

She's more fannish about it than I am. I think I deserve an uber-toaster.
