Hey! What do you two think you're doing? Fightin' at a time like this. You'll use up all the air!

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

"...and then Legolas and the Hulk destroy the entire Greek army." - Penny Arcade

§ ita §, that's cool! "Ichabod Crane doubts your commitment to Revolutionary motion."

ION, I went last night to see the DW 50th on the big screen in 3D. It was still pretty cool, but I don't think the 3D really added anything. On the other hand, we did get the Doctor's introduction to the 3D version, which was very, uh, Matt Smith-y:

"Hello, everyone! Welcome to the Doctor Who 100th anniversary special! In TWELVE-D, with all 57 Doctors!"

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

It was still pretty cool, but I don't think the 3D really added anything.

It did make the 3D paintings actually 3D.

The introduction was very fun. And the Sontaran movie etiquette video!

The introduction was very fun. And the Sontaran movie etiquette video!

I want this before every movie!

My monocular vision is well known and I have to say that the 2D presentation was plenty swoopy enough to make me queasy.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

The introduction was very fun. And the Sontaran movie etiquette video!

I've just gone back and started watching the Jenna-Louise Coleman adventures, including the Christmas special. Strax is hilarious, and if I hadn't just changed my tagline, I would be tagging him right now. "I have declared war on the Moon!"

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I want one!

Oh, *that's* what I left off my wish list!

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Sleepy Hollow: during the Katrina giving birth scene I expected something awful to happen - kind of Rosemary's Baby horrible. And I was expecting the kind abolitionist to turn out to be nothing of the sort - that maybe all the happy employees were actually being kept in place and on the job with either black magic or physical punishment.

It was kind of disconcerting to see none of that.

But the good abolitionist got killed by the tree-demon, so I guess my worst expectations weren't completely unfulfilled.

Well, tree-demon was playing Angry Birds on the house, so he was able to get in.

People! When constructing your Keep The Evil Out hexes, don't depend on easily breakable materials!

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

A chainsaw would have cleared that up right fast.
