Well, you'd better not be thinking what I think you're thinking, because my answer is the same as always — no threesomes unless it's boy-boy-girl. Or Charlize Theron.

Boxed Set, Vol. V: Just a Hint of Denial and a Dash of Retcon

A topic for the discussion of Doctor Who, Arrow, and The Flash. Beware possible invasions of iZombie, Sleepy Hollow, or pretty much any other "genre" (read: sci fi, superhero, or fantasy) show that captures our fancy. Expect adult content and discussion of the Big Gay Sex.

Marvel superheroes are discussed over at the MCU thread.

Whitefont all unaired in the U.S. ep discussion, identifying it as such, and including the show and ep title in blackfont.

Blackfont is allowed after the show has aired on the east coast.

This is NOT a general TV discussion thread.

How big is his role on Blue Bloods?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I don't remember seeing him this season, actually. I was surprised he managed to film both at all--where does Arrow film (I'm assuming Blue Bloods is in the city)? He was injured at the end of last season but I'd have remembered if he'd died even if I'm not as attentive to that show.

I think this episode had a great amount of plot. Made up for some lack of comic book hero progression last season, IMO. But I also think it was quite ballsy to leave it all for this season and to have such a character change sophomore year.

I give thumbs up.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Teppy, should I wait until you have seen Arrow to post about it?

I hope people who are trying to remain unspoilt are not reading--I was succinct not because I'm nice (lost cause) but because I'm on a tablet. But if we set up informal expectations we can't commit to as a thread, someone's going to get unpleasantly spoilt down the road, and I don't want that to happen.

ita, normally that is how I approach it too, but Teppy and Arrow seem to go hand in hand to me.

Anyway, here it is. Teppy, do not read further if you don't want spoilers.

So Oliver can now come and go as he wants from the island that he had to spend years trying to escape the first time?

Felicity continues to be awesome, and I love the new lair. I was really hoping Laurel was going to get killed.

That looked like a bad wig on what I assume was Black Canary. Do we think it is Laurel's sister still alive?

I liked competent bar running, Thea. Although, I thought her change of heart on her mother was way too quick. How old is she supposed to be? Is she in school at all, I can't remember.

Please give Paul Blackthorne something more interesting to do this season.

Yay, Walter! I hope he sticks around.

I wanted spoilers, so yay!

And the thread blurb says blackfont is allowed after the show airs on the East Coast -- like ita said, if I wanted to remain pure and unsullied, I would have just stayed out of the thread.

My totally unspoiled guess is that Black Canary (if it IS Black Canary) is Laurel's not-dead sister.

ION, is Tomorrow People worth watching?

I really hope it is. Otherwise, bringing her up every ten seconds is lame.

Teppy, glad I could help with the spoilers.

God knows Teppy loves Arrow (no, they do know), but I figured the uberfan knows what she's in for.

Deciding to trash The Hood now that it's extra tainted, and to pretend the end game name hasn't been RIGHT THERE THE WHOLE TIME is pretty ballsy, but it was a ballsy premiere all round. I guess the tension is--will he be Green? Will he change the nature of the character in place, or will he change the costume?

That's the most interesting part of the whole thing for me--going from a killer to a non-killer, from revenge driven to a saving hero is a big step, and might rehab him with at least some of the cops (from Batman's rep to Superman's?).

Since Kelly's character wears a blonde wig I was confused by the silent saviour in that ending scene. Was that a silent Black Canary for reasons, or us not hearing a familiar voice? The wig was deliberately obscuring her face.

It felt like they'd really plotted out S2 pretty early into S1, maybe locking things down when they got the back 9 (how early did they get renewed?). Despite the missed-year-in-the-summer, I liked that.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

TomPeeps was eh -- nice actors, could be promising, has Satan (or at least the guy who always plays him) as the main antagonist. I'll give it a couple weeks.
